The Best Place In Coorg!
This is the 5th time we stayed at the little jungle and we can never stop coming back. Such a beautiful place, aesthetically decorated, warmest people, lovely pets and awesome food! We have now over the years stayed in all blocks and this stay was in a recently constructed Kaveri block with spacious balconies/sitouts. Ms Boji and Mr Bopanna are the warmest hosts and make you feel like a family. The staff, specially Rohit and Vijay are great to make you feel well looked after. Nature's Embrace: Little Jungle Homestay Retreat
During my stay at the Little Jungle Home Stay with my family, the serene ambiance offered us with a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Each morning, I woke up to the melodious chirping of birds and I found myself enchanted by the beauty of nature every where. This homestay provided not just accommodation but a delicious food and a great service. Boji Ma'am is truly a wonderful person , in spite of her busy schedule she would spend time with us. Soothing the body and the soul this little jungle will provide one an excellent stay .
Nestled amongst the coffee and spices plantation this little abode was an experience in itself. The dinner and breakfast was a local cuisine of par excellence and was made and served under the personal supervision of the graceful and co owner Ms Bouji . Her husband a passionate and knowledgeable man Mr Bopanna took us for a tour of their coffee estate in the morning . In their 35 acres of land they have planted almost 75000 trees including 38 varieties of fruits apart from coffee, pepper and other spice plantation. Our 2nd trip here!
We (a family of 3) were back at this little slice of Paradise last weekend - the last time we visited was a couple of years ago. This time around, we were housed in a new block 'Kaveri'; just like their other rooms, the ones in Kaveri are very spacious and the sit-out area is huge! Given the green canopy all around, nature lovers can pretty much spend the entire day here. The food continues to be great - homely, sumptuous and varied. And of course, they prepare local delicacies on request. Do ask for their homemade wines :) and the coffee! Ms. Boji takes the utmost care of her guests along with her staff (Rohit and Vijay are the stars) and Mr Bopanna is always available for plantation walks. To summarize in one word "Awesome !!!"
Had been to this wonderful place with my team of 30+ for a 2 night, 3 days stay. Rooms were excellent, service was spot on, food was good and the staff were very friendly and accomodative. All of us just loved the property as it has something for every one. (Kids had nice open play space, indoor games room, gazebo, sit out area, pond, Nature walk...) Location itself is super beautiful and releaxing. The personal care taken by the Owners deserve special mention making our stay a memorable and enjoyable. To summarize in one word "Awesome !!!" One of my favourite hideouts from all the chaos since 2016
I stumbled upon little jungle 7 years back and ever since then I have been either coming here myself or sending my friends and acquaintances. Office Trip to Coorg
We had gone for a office trip to coorg and little jungle resort was our stay. It was an amazing place filled with greenery. The ambience and hospitality was excellent. Highly recommended! Quiet and Serene Coorg getaway
We were 3 couples(and a teen) looking for a quiet place, not too crowded, simple, and close to Bangalore to relax and catch up. Little Jungle ticked all our needs and we booked quickly for a 2-night stay. Booking was easy and quick with a modest advance. The 5 hr or so drive was easy and pleasant. We loved the ambiance as soon we checked in and Boji (our hostess) led us to our Heritage Rooms. This section has 4 rooms with a central open verandah, each room with a balcony, and a front porch to sit together. We were given 3 of those and the 4th remained empty during our stay. So, it felt very private and cozy. The balconies open out to their coffee estates or farm trees with plenty of avian activity if one sits there at the right times. In fact, the whole place is a birders/nature paradise which we enjoyed thoroughly with sightings of a Lesser Yellownape (from our balcony!), Trogon (on a trail close by), Flying Lizard, or Draco are among our highlights. There is a Gazebo also close by to our rooms where we sat together during evenings, playing games and chatting with snacks. The resort and rooms are maintained well with helpful staff. It has a game room with TT table and plenty of trails to walk around in nature and relax. No swimming pool though. Lots of touristy places within a one-hour drive. We just did a long walk close by to Belur Golf Course and another at a nearby lake. Last day, our hosts gave us a tour of their organic farm a little distance away as a bonus which was nice. Food is home-cooked style with not too many items as seen at high-end buffets but perfectly balanced for us. We asked for Coorgi items and were suitably rewarded with some tasty fare at all the times we ate there. They do take suggestions if given sufficient time to prepare. One lunch we ate at Coffee District (Somwarpet 7km away), which has a nice porch overlooking the mountains where they served our food. It started raining after we settled in there and made the experience that much more enchanting. Overall, we absolutely enjoyed our stay and returned home sufficiently rejuvenated and "caught up". Great stay at Little Jungle
Well maintained property, friendly staff , lovely plantation, special thanks to Rohit, Vijay, Suraj, Manoj, Sajesh And ofcourse the four legged friends - Sultan, Kia, Cooper, Cleo.🥰 Amazing food , clean rooms and spacious ones , bathroom are neat and clean with geysers . One good thing for all parents .,is that there is no wifi in most of the plantations, available only in limited places ,so my teen boys were off their phones and enjoyed the place and activities around the location thoroughly. They organized the camp fire too.Thanks Boji for giving us a great stay .
